HI! I never posted something like this b/c it's personal, but I need opinions from adults to get this off my chest. I'm 24 yrs old, was hit in a terrible car crash and on disability now, and moving back home. My mother has always started fights with me and likes drama, feeds off of it rather. She always tells me I'm worthless, lazy and a bum, and she constantly tells my 16 yr old siblings that she doesnt want them living at the house, and cant wait for the day they get the f- outta the house! She has 0 feelings towards us, very insensitive and she admits it, and said shes proud of it.. Shes fine one minute then starts screamin at me and yells F YOU in my face. She tells me when I move back home shes going to make my life a living hell, even though my back is in terrible condition. She and my father have NEVER been there emotionally there for me, only financially. They make me feel very depresed and down, but she claims Im only feeling sorry for myself, which honestly, isnt the case! All Im saying, is what would you do if you were me? Its hard to move out bc im going to college (online this semester) ...thanks in advance! :)i asked her why would u treat your kids like this? she said we're all toooooo sensitive, need to toughen up, and she ALWAYS says "you need to get over it!"I've asked her why would u treat your kids like this? she said we're all toooooo sensitive, need to toughen up, and she ALWAYS says "you need to get over it!" Family counseling is out of the question! When I was having eating problems ((bulimia)) when I was 18 and asked if i could get help, she said no, flipped out on me and said I was just looking for attention :( It's now about 6 yrs later and I'm still bulimic.

Mother emotionally abusive to me! What would you DO?!?

quick and easy c programming help?
here is my understanding... the government decides we must PAY car insurance...

you are fined if you dont have it!!
the insurance costs like... up to 16 times the worth of the car PER YEAR!!! (i seen a quote of £8000 to insure a £500 fiesta o_O)
3rd party insurance specifically states that it will NOT cover you in any event of any sort of accident!!
it will cover the other car at a further charge to you!!
you are clearly descriminated against EVERYTHING including age, the area you live in, employment and maritial status and being a GUY!!
the benefits include... not getting arrested... uhhh... thats about it really... because if i crashed my £500 fiesta and totally... WRECKED the thing... it would be cheaper... to buy 15 new cars... than to insure that 1... and if i did crash im sure the cost would go up so uhh... they aint, really helping at ALL... i feel we are being legally F**KED... and too mindless to do anything about it.... anyone else feel like this? o_O

does anyone else think that car insurance is a total... ROBBERY?

Did the Dems lie to you about Sadaam Hussein and WMD's?
Okay so I met this guy (17yrs old) (i'm also 17) this previous September. We started dating recently and decided on becoming official. We've been official for 1 month this Friday. I feel like things are perfect with him, and have no regrets about anything we've done. One of my best friends also recently got a boyfriend and their basically moving at the same speed as me and my boyfriend. However, a different friend told me that I was moving way to fast with him and that I was turning into a slut.

Basically we've gone as far as me going down on him orally and him f!ngering me. I don't know if this is too fast, I know my previous relationship that went this far I was in I was 15 almost 16 and we hadn't gotten this far till we had been dating for 6 months, and even then I knew I wasn't ready and felt weird about it.

But with this guy I feel extremely comfortable with. But are we going to fast and should we slow down? we're both okay with the speed we're at but I don't want us to get in too deep and crash/burn.

Are we moving too fast in our relationship?
Please help me translate this from english to spanish!!!

In Spain, the frequency of binge drinking declines with age much more quickly ... Teen Binge Drinkers Risk Alcoholism And Social Exclusion As Adults
In Spain, the frequency of binge drinking declines with age much more quickly ... Teen Binge Drinkers Risk Alcoholism And Social Exclusion As Adults

Drinking and Driving
Car crashes are the leading cause of death among people ages 15 to 20. About 1,900 people under 21 die every year from car crashes involving underage drinking.
Young people are more susceptible to alcohol-induced impairment of their driving skills. Drinking drivers aged 16 to 20 are twice as likely to be involved in a fatal crash as
drinking drivers who are 21 or older.

Sexual Behavior
Current teen drinkers are more than twice as likely to have had sexual intercourse within the past three months than teens who don't drink.
Higher drinking levels increase the likelihood of sexual activity.
Adolescents who drink are more likely to engage in risky sexual activities, like having sex with someone they don't know or failing to use birth control.

Academic Performance
A government study published in 2007 shows a relationship between binge drinking and grades. Approximately two-thirds of students with “mostly A’s” are non-drinkers, while nearly half of the students with “mostly D’s and F’s” report binge drinking. It is not clear, however, whether academic failure leads to drinking, or vice versa.

Libs, I'm sorry, can we finally give the Iraq war lies a rest please?
Just now. I basically crashed. I was crying, feeling stupid, hated myself, and felt like sh*t. Honestly, Ive never felt so low before. I'm only 16 so there's really no reason to feel depressed. I have a good life and everything but Iunno...there's so much on my mind I jus broke down. I went to the bathroom and cried for like..15min. then....cut. I jus felt so bad and after it jus seemed like it dulled all emotional pain/stress....at first it was like, wow I feel even lower for cutting but then it sorta dulled the rest and now I'm more calm again...if slightly shaken up still. Really, this is messed up. There's so much on my mind and it's all so stupid..I'm worrying about what I will do this week of spring break cuz lots of my friends are gone. I jus feel totally crushed and even the fact that I feel this way makes me feel worse. I think to myself, wow, why the f*ck am I so sad/depressed?! And that just makes it all ten times worse. Honestly, I don't know what to do. I don't want to talk to my parents or bro or sis....I could ask my *gf* if I could talk to her but she'd probably leave if she found out how I feel and what I've done...

I don't know what I'm asking....I jus can't keep all this inside without telling anyone.

I'm sorry for wasting anyone's time if anyone bothers to read all of that.

Why are the left saying it is all his doing considering the following people have said this: (not to mention Vladimir Putin and British PM have stated their concerns as well)

Why do people blame only George Bush for the war in Iraq?
The Colonel's Order

A COLONEL ISSUED THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIVE TO HIS EXECUTIVE OFFICERS:

"Tomorrow evening at approximately 2000 hours Halley's Comet will be visible in this area; an event which occurs only every 75 years. Have the men fall out in the battalion area in fatigues, and I will explain this rare phenomenon to them. In case of rain, we will not be able to see anything, so assemble the men in the theater and I will show them films of it."

EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO COMPANY COMMANDER:

"By order of the Colonel, tomorrow at 2000 hours, Halley's Comet will appear above the battalion area. If it rains, fall the men out in fatigues, then march to the theater where this rare phenomenon will take place, something which occurs only once every 75 years."

COMPANY COMMANDER TO LIEUTENANT:

"By order of the Colonel be in fatigues at 2000 hours tomorrow evening. The phenomenal Halley's Comet will appear in the theater. In case of rain in the battalion area, the Colonel will give another order, something which occurs once every 75 years."

LIEUTENANT TO SERGEANT:

"Tomorrow at 2000 hours, the Colonel will appear in the theater with Halley's comet, something which happens every 75 years. If it rains, the Colonel will order the comet into the battalion area."

SERGEANT TO SQUAD:

"When it rains tomorrow at 2000 hours, the phenomenal 75-year-old General Halley, accompanied by the Colonel, will drive his comet through the battalion area theater in fatigues."

Apologizing to China
Time sensitive note: This joke pertains to the crash of a Chinese plane into a United States plane over International waters. China demanded an apology from us and stole technology from our plane when it was forced to make an emergency landing in Chinese lands.

Dear China,

We're sorry you don't train your fighter pilots better. As a token of our apology, here's a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000.

We're also sorry your front-line fighter planes can't outmaneuver a 35-year old prop-driven airliner. Perhaps you'd like to purchase some surplus 1950's-era Lockheed Starfighters from Taiwan...since they just replaced all theirs with new F-16's.

We're also sorry you believe your territorial waters extend all the way to Australia. For future reference, here's an American 6th grade geography textbook. (Please note the Copyright information printed inside the cover.)

In addition, we're sorry you can't seem to see your part of this incident. We know it seems easier to blame others than to take responsibility. Consider this while we build several new Aegis destroyers for our friends in Taiwan.

Finally, we're sorry we granted you Most-Favored-Nation trading status. This will be rectified at the soonest possible opportunity. Along those lines, we're especially sorry we treated you with such respect for the last 20 years. We'll definitely rethink this policy, and will probably go back to treating you like a street gang very soon.

Sincerely,

The People of the United States of America
