was this just an isolated man made disaster on Ft Hood today?
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

How long will it take gun controllers to politicize Ft Hood?
I am not considering it was a Muslim. US Army Major Malik Nadal Hasan

Are you surprised at the ft. hood shooting?
has in the past hour been taken into custody? And soldiers at the base are saying they felt there was more than one shooter.DUMBER: And you got a "top contributor" label for replies like that. Unbelievable.

Did anyone else hear Texas congressman John Carter just say regarding Ft. Hood shooting that another person?
IM SO PISSED OFF. He got off lucky, being shot so early, deserved to rot in prison and be harrassed daily at least... My brother is at fort cambell in kentucky right now, probably going to afganastan within a year, at first my heart skipped a beat cuz i thought my brother was in danger until i saw where the shooting happened. My heart is with the soldiers and their family members at ft. hood now and i pray that nothing like this ever happens again. I wish i could kick Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan's ass right now, too bad he's dead :/

Ft. Hood shooting today- feel free to vent?
Yeah, I know I will catch a lot of sh*t on this one. I'm not trying to troll here. I am genuinely asking. Don't get me wrong, I know there are bad Muslims out there. But there are many more good ones than bad, if you simply look at statistical analysis of the number of Muslims who HAVE participated in terrorist acts compared the number who HAVE NOT. Muslims make up at least 22% of our world population. (http://www.religioustolerance.org/isl_numb.htm)

I understand prejudice and anger against those who commit acts of terrorism. But for those of you who are making assumptions about the Ft Hood shooter and claiming Muslims cannot be trusted and shouldn't serve in the US Military.... Please, answer my above question. I want to see your validated, rational opinions.

I am asking because I truly do not understand how such racism and prejudice is possible coming from so many intelligent, well-educated people.Continued from above..... Many people who are anti-Islamic see a person who is or appears to be of Arab descent. They assume he/she must be Muslim. And since he/she is Muslim, they immediately distrust them. That is racism.I am aware that Muslims are made up of all different races, but the general population of anti-Muslim persons are not. That's my point. Muslims are black, white, Asian, Arab, French, Hispanic, etc. So why do people lump all Muslims into one category of dishonest, violent people??Bigman, you do have a valid point and I will take your advice. Thank you for posting.Agreed, Nick FG. Good points I didn't quite articulate, and some I didn't think of.

Why do people think all Muslims are jihadist terrorists?
a further 32 attempted suicides and 106 have demonstrated a desire to commit suicide all this year ? Was this Major number 33 . If so why take out 10 of his fellow troops plus a policeman and a civilian.?

http://suicideandmentalhealthassociationinternational.org/soldiersui.htmlWould there have been such an outcry if this man had been a Christian or Jewish ?I should have said the gunman and NOT a civilian. Sorry guysDaisy yes he was shot but this is just another way of committing suicide ?

Does Ft Hood have a jinx. 10 soldiers sadly shot today. 8 soldiers committed suicide this year?
They are already saying Hasan was just a psychiatrist suffering from stress. Watch and see they will never call it a terror attack cause Hussein done outlawed that word while our soldiers lay dead and wounded what has this country changed into. Why we cant even say the words war on terror anymore is it nearing time for revolution?

Are you ready for the coverup of the Ft. Hood terror killing?
Of all the questions that have sprung up in the past few hours about this tragedy, most of them are intended to make a political statement about how we should be kicking out Muslims from the military and all of this other BS. How many people actually look past the political statements and realize the 12 families lost someone. Many others have someone wounded somewhere. What's worse is that it is on our own soil, not somewhere halfway across the world. CAN WE FORGO THE POLITICS FOR ONE SECOND!?! CAN"T WE HONOR THESE AMERICANS RATHER THAN BASTARDIZING THEIR DEATHS!?! Who else is mourning them like I am, rather than just using it as a platform to bash Obama from? You see!?! Even on this question we can't forgo the politics. Thank you RoseRed2 (cue sarcasm). You say you are mourning, and then turn around and start talking about our liberal government.I feel sorry for you, Duirmuid, for you will live the rest of your life in fear.

How many people actually care about the victims of Ft Hood?
omg
every time I hear his voice I just have to turn him off!
He always com across so darn breathless...like we should sit on the edge of our seats .... I'm not complaining about CNN as a whole but Blitzer should never be used in cases such as the shootings at Ft Hood.
*Dislike Foxfive immensely. But I do find Separd Smith more tolerable than the rest of those dorks, and certainly more tolerable than Wolf~~the breathless ~~ Blitzer.
